If you are using Windows 7, you try to find the Organize menu located in the upper left corner of your windows explorer.
Click, and choose Folder and Search Options.
Folder option will appear, and then you click the View tab, uncheck missing the 3 options
- Hide empty drives in the computer folder
- Hide Extensions for known file types
- Hide protected operating system files (recommended) for this option will be no warning of the windows. Just press yes. Then select Show hidden files and Folders
Go to your Flasdisk, try to check whether the data is yours there. Usually, if the data is lost due to a virus, then the file or folder you will look blurry-opaque.
The fifth step is an important step to restore the data on your thumb drive
- Press Win + R, to bring up the Run dialog box
- Type cmd in the Run dialog box, then enter to display the comand prompt
- Previously, you find the location of your flasdisk Is it a drive letter in the first? The H? or in G? if for example the position of your thumb drive on the drive letter H, then typing "H:" (without the quotes) and then enter.
- Then enter the attribute "attrib -r -a -s -h *. * / S / d / l" (without the quotes) and then hit enter.
If the file is missing it a lot, then it will require loading a few minutes. If the file has been completed and you are back please close comand prompt, and then restore the settings in step 3 as before. If you do not return, it will be a lot of strange file system, worried you'll accidentally then mendelet the file. Hope it is useful
